A Piece of Fashion History
De Rode Winkel is far from just another clothing store. The story goes all the way back to 1837, when Johannes Broekman opened a small tailor shop and fabric store in Utrecht. Over the decades, the family business evolved from tailoring workwear for local craftsmen into one of the most respected denim specialists in the country.
Today, more than 180 years later, the store is still located on the same street where it all began. Run by the sixth generation of the Broekman family, De Rode Winkel has built a reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and an unmatched selection of denim and contemporary fashion.
